We were very lucky to get into this restaurant during a very busy Memorial Day weekend, covid and with no reservations available anywhere. Parking was not the easiest for us probably because it was a very busy restaurant on a holiday weekend however, we were lucky to park in the building next door and had no issues.
They sat us in the back corner with the air blowing directly on us, while this sounds great for a hot summer evening, it was not great for us because that constant blowing was a bit too much. We were getting together with a colleague from work and found them at the table with a mushroom pizza appetizer (the highlight of dinner). I have to say that the pizza was AMAZING!
We ordered the rib eye steak with potatoes as a side…check out that herbed butter…I always love when restaurants place the butter on the steak, not only for the presentation but the flavor it adds when it melts. Unfortunately, the steak was ordered as medium rare came out as well done (not good) so we had to send it back.
The beet salad was very popular and was the perfect combination of a citrus vinaigrette dressing, goat cheese, dates and toasted hazelnuts.
They had a fish special that was very good, basic
We did not get dessert.
FINAL THOUGHTS: Would I go back, probably not as my experience was not great with us having to return 2 dishes, the air blowing and the service, it was not my favorite.
