Westlake Village, CA 91361
It is amazing to think that only 4 years ago the Stonehaus was introduced to Westlake Village and 4 years later it is even more beautiful than when it first opened. If you are passing through the area, I would highly recommend stopping by…in the morning for coffee, the afternoon for a sandwich or in the evening for wine and casual dining.
I love everything about this “destination”…it literally transforms me and is a great escape to my everyday life. A few things you should know about the Stonehaus, it is primarily all outdoor seating, there are heat lamps, picnic tables, and dirt pathways to get around so ladies, high-heeled shoes are not necessary. It’s more of a rustic atmosphere that is lit up with twinkle lights. On the weekends they have someone come to play music, usually someone on a guitar.
Recently I have found purchasing a bottle of my favorite wine and sharing is the cheaper way to go. My “goto” meals are the pear, bread and chicken sandwich, and the cheese tray. I find the pizza is not satisfying for me as it’s very thin crust and is not filling at all and personally for the price, I’d rather have the sandwich.
Here is a photo of the pear, brie, and chicken sandwich…

For the wine, they are very good about letting you try it before you buy a glass or bottle, they also do flights so it is another great option in trying out the different wines so you know for the next visit.
Here is a red wine we purchased, the white wines are great as well
They have 2 stations in purchasing wines and food, one is inside and one is the outside cabana, both can get a little busy so know you have to be patient, once you order the wine you carry it out to your table, if you order food, they will bring the food to your table…outside of that there is no waiter service for the food at the table.
I do not find this location to be a “bar scene”, even though there is drinking involved. I find it to be a great location to sit and mingle with friends and family. I’m sure if you are looking to meet someone it does happen but I find the Stonehaus to be a safe place to just enjoy a night out and it’s even child friendly.
