Temecula, CA 92590
The Goat and Vine is located on a side street in downtown Temecula. The town in itself is pretty amazing, it’s an old town feel with concrete sidewalks and wood planks. The town is filled with restaurants and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them.
Parking for the town is super easy and we had no problem finding a spot, even if you have to walk a little, it’s fine as people watching and seeing the town is all worth it!
The Goat & Vine was recommended to us by 2 different friends and so we were sold on it once we had seen the menu. We arrived at 7:00 and we were told it was 1 1/2 hours before we would be seating. We were fine with that as we got to explore the town.
Seating is interesting as they have community tables (which we sat at) and regular tables. When we saw the menu, I wanted to order everything on it as it all sounded amazing. For my drink, I ordered the sangria
I had the sangria which was a watermelon flavored sangria and was not the typical sweet wine/fruit infused drink. Of course we ordered the breadsticks, against my choice but so happy we did, the breadsticks were the perfect balance of dough, sauce and cheese and the gorgonzola added a perfect balance and was not overwhelming.
We also ordered the Thai Chicken Pizza…delicious! The pizza was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. Of course, we ordered a salad, a simple mixed green salad with strawberries, goat cheese and tomatoes, the dressing was perfect and was the perfect start to our meal.
I would recommend this restaurant as we really did enjoy our dinner. Please let me know your thoughts as well.
