JOEY – Woodland Hills, CA

Joey - Woodland Hills, CA

Salmon with mashed potatoes and peas $31.75

JOEY
6344 Topanga Blvd.
Woodland Hill, CA  91367

One of my most favorite restaurants at The Village!  I think it’s because I feel like when I go to JOEY I feel like it’s home to me.  It gives me that chic feeling for being in an outdoor mall.  This beautiful restaurant offers an open space with an amazing outdoor dining area, it’s a casual upscale restaurant in our little community.

I moved to Woodland Hills almost 5 years ago and since day one, once I found Joey in The Village, I was a fan.  I love this place, recently they have had a few changes, mostly on the menu.

They are doing new wines and new entrees and they removed some of the old time favorites from the menu, at least some of my favorites are now gone.  They removed my favorite dish (the salmon bowl) so I ordered the salmon plate, it was very good, a little rich in sauces for me and it was a little salty.  The ingredient from their menu, truffle beurre blanc, preserved tomatoes, creamy mashed potatoes, snap peas + asparagus

They still have the hummus and I 100% think everyone needs to try the hummus at least once.  I love the homemade tzatziki in the middle, the salty olives, sweet tomatoes and fresh dill…not to mention the currants the whole combination is out of this world!

Appetizer Hummus – $17.50

FINAL THOUGHTS: If you are in the area and looking for a great place to eat with pricing a little high but well worth spending, I’d recommend this lovely restaurant.  I’m not sure if they know what they are truly serving as I ordered the white wine from New Zealand (I ordered without looking at the menu) and I don’t see that wine on the pricelist lol.

For a Date:  It can be a little loud but that can work in your favor;)  I’d still say yes for a date, make reservations, if you can to avoid long lines.
