Coin & Candor is the perfect restaurant for a girl’s night out or date night.  Located in the Four Seasons Hotel, you find the perfect balance of elegant and casual dining.

What a magical night spent with my girlfriends.  My girlfriend Louisa and I had plans to get together for dinner.  Then she realized she doubled booked and asked if I wanted to join her and few of her neighborhood friends for dinner, of course I said yes.  Lucky for us it was part of the Dine in LA at the time we came for dinner.

We started off with drinks and clearly there was a table favorite

Fancy drinks – $16 on average

Then we ordered some sour dough & pretzel bread for the table, they came out warm and worth every penny of the $14

For me I ordered the Dine in LA special that started with an autumn salad, this was the perfect salad with the pop from the pomegranate, the sharpness from the blue cheese and the sweetness from the beet salad

One of the lovely ladies ordered the yellowtail

There was a great plate with pasta and meatballs

my girlfriend Lourdes ordered the avocado bread

and of course the chicken dish, I had the sauce on the side for my dish and honestly think it was ordered perfectly for me served that way.

Ok let’s not forget the decadent chocolate 10 layer cake

and a Fig Gateau

I wish I had a photo of all the beauties as it was such a wonderful night spent with amazing women!

FINAL THOUGHTS:  I would highly recommend Coin & Candor!  I think the service, the food and the ambiance speaks for itself.  That autumn salad was the perfect balance of everything you would like in a salad from sweet to savory and everything in between.  Also don’t skimp on that chocolate cake, it was exceptional.

For a Date:  This is the perfect date night location.  They offer in-door or outdoor dining and they have many options for you to choose from so everyone will be happy!  This restaurant may be a light and bright but it’s also very sexy, perfect for date night!
