YUM…I love everything healthy these days so I was so excited to come to The Butcher’s Daughter with some friends. Parking is not easy, let’s face it, it’s Venice Beach, parking will not be easy. There is meter parking or street parking, which is what we did. The Butcher’s Daughter will not seat you until your whole party is there and they do not take reservations so if you think getting there early to reserve your seat will work, it won’t. The inside of the restaurant is quaint, I loved the natural plants, didn’t love the artificial plants but I understand why they incorporate both. The food is vegetarian, I had the acai bowl, simple and delightful…other items ordered: The avocado toast (fabulous) with egg
Cauliflower grits with poached eggs
and a few drinks.
This restaurant does not serve hard alcohol, so if you are looking for a traditional bloody mary, you will not find it here but the drinks of choice were suitable.
FINAL THOUGHTS: I loved this light and bright plant-based restaurant and for someone who enjoys eating meat, I still found something wonderful to eat. I would highly recommend it and I’d say to make sure you make reservations as they are very busy, especially on the weekend.
